		<description>We didn&#039;t do the big Sunday dinner, but managed to slip in a few traditions anyway.

1. Christmas bird is capon, not turkey and someone must bring Aunt Ruby&#039;s cranberry salad -- or else.

2. New recipes get voted on. Do we keep, tweak or toss?  Honesty is valued over diplomacy.

3. Birthday girls / boys of all ages get to pick the menu for their birthday meal. Anything goes.

4. There is only one acceptable version of lemon pie and it involves  condensed milk. Dad gets the biggest piece and all left overs.</description>
